School System

HOUSE SYSTEM AND STUDENT BODY

The school is divided into four houses – JAL, VAYU, AGNI AND PRUTHVI. Each House is under the charge of a house teacher and has its own prefect and house captains who are responsible for the tone of discipline in that house, during all competitions, games and co-curricular activities which are held.

The primary activities of the house system are as follows :

To inculcate the feeling of a family and dissolve the barriers of junior-senior classes.

To give adequate opportunity to the children to discover themselves in terms of leadership quality, talents, aims and ambitions.

To bring out healthy competitive attitude in all aspects for academic and non academic areas.

To maintain the relationship between the teacher and the student outside the classroom environment so that the house teachers and the tutors become friends and guides who are always there for the children to fall back upon.

The student’s body consists of the student council. A group of students from higher classes are carefully selected after scrutiny of their academic records, attitude and aptitude.

 RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT’S BODY

To give meaningful feedback information to the Principal towards changes if required in various school routines.

To coordinate and offer help in all school function.

To set examples of disciplined individuals, respectful towards all teachers, elders to follow school rules.

To perform all tasks cheerfully, willingly and to set a high academic record.

Active participation is the only way student can be made to feel involved in the school.
