Rules and Regulations


  • Perfect silence and order must be maintained in the library.
  • Only one book at a time will be issued in the library.
  • Book should be returned on the day mentioned in the card.
  • Book must be returned in proper condition.
  • Book missed will have to be paid for.
  • All library books must be returned by the end of academic year.
  • For late submission Re. I will be charged per day as penalty.


  • Students working in labs are totally responsible for any kind of damage of the instrument and will have to pay in complete cost of it.
  • Computer education is compulsory for all students from class I to VIII.


  • The school bus facility is available to the students at fixed stops and it cannot be expected or demanded as a matter of right. The school authorities at their own discretion have the right to disallow any student from availing the bus facility.
  • Students using school bus will maintain discipline in the bus.
  • Any change in the bus timings will be notified.
  • Students are expected to board and alight the school bus from the respective bus stops only. No change will be allowed until sanctioned by the Principal/Administrator only. (In case of emergency)
  • A student’s school bus facility can be withdrawn if he/she is found guilty of misconduct. Proper discipline should be maintained in bus.
  • Parents will not have any transaction/alteration/physical fight with bus staff.
  • Complain of bus operating staff should be brought in writing to the Principal or Administrator.
  • If the school buses are not sent on their rounds to pickup the children from their bus stops. Please take it that the school is closed due to unforeseen circumstances or the bus of the concerned route had developed some technical fault. In such cases parents are requested to leave the student in the school and take the student back on that day.
  • For parents and guardian of student of nursery to class II. The driver has instructions to wait only two minutes while dropping your child at home. In case there is no one to pick up the child he/she will be brought back to the school and the parents will have to collect the child from the school on their own.

Rules for Swimming Pool

  • The Swimming activity can be opt by the parents on the following rules set by the school for the safety and proper care of the child and the swimming pool:
  • The student should pay the fees for this activity in advance, which is non refundable.
  • The student should pay the complete school fees on scheduled dates of all the instalments; else the facility of swimming can be discontinued by the school.
  • The child should be physically fit for this activity; hence the school bears no responsibility regarding his/her sickness during swimming.
  • It is compulsory to wear a swimming costume (Full length for girls/ shorts for boys) for the activity.
  • The sole responsibility of all the belongings of the student will be borne by the student himself/herself. The school will not be held responsible for any kind of loss or theft.
  • The students who have opted for swimming, only they will be allowed to participate in all the swimming related activities and competitions.
  • The students will follow all the instructions of the swimming instructor carefully and strictly.
  • Girls with long hair should have their hair tied back and children, who like to swim with goggles and cap, please bring them named so that they do not get lost.
  • The students must take a shower before entering the swimming pool.
  • The students must maintain proper hygiene and discipline of the pool.
  • Without instructor the students are not allowed to enter the swimming pool area.

Guideline for student Conduct

  • You should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days and on all occasions of functions organized by the school.
  • Pupils who are not properly dressed and whose general appearance does not confirm to such regulation as the school prescribes, may be sent back home by the Principal.
  • It is strictly forbidden to throw anything out of place and at anyone.
  • No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises.
  • It is necessary that pupils must obey the monitor appointed by the class teacher to maintain discipline during his/her absence from the class.
  • Non-Sikh boys should have their hair trimmed at regular intervals.
  • You have to be punctual and regular in the school and join the morning assembly, as the bell starts ringing, in a disciplined manner. By the time the bell stops, ensure that you are in position at the allotted place.
  • Observe order and decorum befitting the occasion.
  • You must not bring any sharp instrument to the school.
  • You must not lend or borrow money or other articles from your fellow student.
  • The school will not be responsible for loss of book, money and other valuables brought by you to the school. However, every effort will be made to recover the things lost, if reported to the Class Teacher or the coordinators immediately.
  • You are expected to be polite, courteous, respectful and well disciplined inside and outside the school.
  • You must take care of your school property. No student should scratch or spoil any school furniture, or write or draw lines on the walls or in any other manner damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident, either by you or by anyone else, should be reported at once to the Class Teacher. Any damage done will have to be made good either individually or collectively.
  • It is compulsory for all children to converse in English as the CBSE syllabus stresses on student competence to speak confidently and fluently in English. A student must speak in decent language all the time. He must ensure that his speech is courteous and polite. No student should participate in any kind of rumour spreading and should refrain from speaking ill about others.
  • Any communication sent from the school should be conveyed to the parents promptly. Parents must meet the teacher by prior appointments and with the permission of the Principal only.
  • The general behavior of students should be good not only in the school but also outside. Any reported objectionable conduct outside the school will make the students liable for disciplinary action.
  • Before leaving the class room at the end of the day student should arrange the desk and chairs in proper order, switch off the light and fans, close the window, throw the waste paper and unwanted materials in the dustbin and then leave the classroom.
  • No child who is suffering from any infectious disease will be allowed to attend the school until he /she is free from the infection.
  • The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.
  • No article will be passed on to the students either in the form of food or stationery in the school or in the bus.
  • Students are not allowed to drive any vehicle to come to school.
  • Do not send expensive gifts and sweets on birthday or any other festivals.
  • Students are not allowed to wear any kind of ornaments in school, except a small earing for girls
  • The Principal has full authority to refuse admission to a child and give transfer certificate to existing students on disciplinary charges.
  • Students are not given half-day leave.
  • Every student should take care of his/her personal belongings, school authorities will not be responsible for loss of such belongings.
  • A student must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of staff. Respect for elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Refinement in behavior should distinguish every pupil of the school. Every child is expected to uphold the name and honor of the school.


  • Student seeking admission for classes Nursery to KGII must fufill the minimum age requirement as on 31st March of the year in which admission is being sought.
  • Nursery 2½ to 3½
  • KG I 3½ to 4½
  • KG II 4½ to 5½

    • The final result of student will be based on the total of his/her performance in :-


    • 1. Formative Assessments – 4 (unit Tests)
    • 2. Summative Assessments – 2 (Half yearly and Annual Examination)
    • 3. Projects & Assignments
    • 4. CW and HW Copies


    • The marks allotted to each will be follows :-
    • a) F.A. I & F.A. II = 10% + 10% = 20%


    • Half yearly = 30%
    • I Summative Assessment = F.A. I + F.A. II + Half Yearly = 50%
    • a. F.A. III & F.A. IV = 10% + 10% = 20%


  • Annual examination = 30%
  • II Summative Assessment = F.A. III + F.A. IV + Annual Examination = 50%
  • b. Final Result (Grand Total) = S.A. I (50%) + S.A.I. (50%) = 100%
  • In order to be declared pass a student must secure 33% or at least Grade ‘D’ in aggregate
    in each subject.
  • Class XI and XII :- As per CBSE Guidelines.
